WebMar 25, 2013 · My shoulders get a sharp pain recently when I do triceps pulldowns. My advice : don't do them. There are tons of different things you can do for triceps, if this hurts, don't do it. Shoulder pain on pushdowns is from using too much weight. You're pushing with your shoulders and not your triceps.
